01Introduction
This policy sets out what The Flying Roo ("we", "us") collects and how it is used, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the service and we do not sell any of it.
02What we collect
- Your email address, to deliver access codes, send your de-brief and let you resume an exam you have started.
- Exam data, your answers, score and time remaining, so an interrupted exam can be resumed and your de-brief can be produced.
03Payment information
We do not see or store your card details. Payment happens on Stripe's hosted checkout page. We receive a confirmation that payment succeeded and the email address to send the codes to.
04Third-party services
The service runs on providers who may process your data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase. Hosting, database and the functions that draw your exam.
- Stripe. Payment processing.
- Brevo. Transactional email: your codes and your de-brief.
- Google Analytics. Anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, device type, purchases) so we can see how the site is used.
05Retention and use
Your email address is used for transactional messages only. Codes and the exam data attached to them are kept so that de-briefs can be re-sent and disputes resolved. We do not send marketing email and we do not share your details with advertisers.
06Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Email support@theflyingroo.au.
